What is the difference between Remanufactured & Refilled???
Toner Cartridges
Toner cartridges are used to supply ink to laser printers. Manufacturing
companies that produce brand name printers often produce toner cartridges as
well. These are used to replenish the printer with toner when it runs out. Many
people, however, feel that these are not an affordable option since they often
charge high prices for brand name O.E.M. cartridges. These consumers find cheap
alternatives to refill or replace their original cartridges after the color, or
black options, have run out of ink. Anyone who has dealt with a wide range of
office laser printers, copiers, and fax machines, should know that there are
also many different types of toner cartridges. Each type of machine has its own
individualized cartridges. When you go to a store to purchase replacements, you
will often find a whole wall of varieties to choose from. Only one or two kinds
will work for your home or office’s brand of printer. In fact, each brand
usually has several different types of printers that require their own designs.
Remanufactured and refillable toner cartridges are often cheaper than those
purchased from the manufacturer, but it is important for consumers to make sure
that the designs they choose will actually fit their machines. Drill & Fill
often have discounted prices, but you only save money when they actually work.
Whereas Oklahoma Toner Co L.L.C. doesn't use the "Drill & Refill" method.
We take apart every cartridge and inspects the housing. Then we SONIC wash the
housing and rebuild the cartridge from scratch with high quality replacement
parts, including a new drum.
Inkjet & Ink Tanks (No drill & refill on these either)
Inkjet cartridges are easier than ever to replace due to the amount of
printing in both the home and office these days, however, there is such a wide
variety of makes and models that it can become overwhelming. Unlike the toner
cartridges, we don't disassemble them, but instead we use a centrifuge to remove
what is left of the old ink and back flush a solvent up through the printhead,
cleaning the printhead and ink retaining sponge. Then after using the centrifuge
again to remove the solvent, we now back fill the ink back through the printhead
which ensures a crisp clean print every time.
By purchasing your ink or toner cartridges through us, you will get the same
high quality cartridges as O.E.M. for your printer, copier, or fax machine
and save money too.
